Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
Mi Comida AI is operated by Quant Solutions. We designed the app so your profile, meal history, saved meal photos, goals, and Apple Health readings remain on your iPhone.
The app asks for your explicit permission before sending food photos, meal labels, or food search queries to our Cloudflare service and Cloudflare Workers AI. You can decline and continue manual logging, or withdraw permission in Profile → Data controls. Withdrawal stops future requests; it cannot recall data already sent. Existing saved meals remain available.
Meal analysis
When you choose to analyze a meal, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our Cloudflare service and Cloudflare Workers AI to identify visible food and estimate nutrition. Our application does not save the meal photo on its servers or include photo content in operational logs. The estimate is returned to your phone, where you decide whether to save it.
On-device data
Profile photos are cropped and saved on your iPhone only. They are not sent to the food-analysis service or included in nutrition-history exports. You can replace or remove a profile photo in Edit profile.
When you change language, meal names and food labels are sent to our Cloudflare service for translation. Food search terms and database labels may also be processed by Workers AI for translation. Nutrition database values come from a USDA FoodData Central SR Legacy April 2018 snapshot, not from generated search results.
Saved meals and optional saved photos use iOS file protection. Apple Health data is read only after your permission and is displayed locally; it is not sent to our meal-analysis service. You can export or delete saved food data in the app.
Service protection
The app sends a random, app-specific installation identifier. We hash it before storing request counters and a persistent seven-day preview start time. Mi Comida also uses Apple's DeviceCheck service to keep one yes/no device setting that records whether this device has started its free preview. This prevents reinstalling the app from restarting the preview. The DeviceCheck token is used only for this purpose; Mi Comida does not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking, and the second available DeviceCheck setting remains unused.
Daily counters and scan reservations are deleted after their retention window (eight days after the daily window ends, at the next daily cleanup). Apple-signed transactions are verified for paid scanning. The daily Plus allowance is shared across devices using the same subscription, identified by a hashed original transaction reference. Hashed transaction references, expiration and revocation status are stored to process refunds. These records are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. Mi Comida reads Apple-signed entitlement information to unlock subscription features and does not receive your full payment-card details.
Your choices
You can disable saved photos, stop showing Health data, change notification permissions in iOS Settings, export or restore nutrition history, or delete meal data from the app. History exports exclude photos and settings. Files you export are controlled by you; deleting history in the app does not delete external exports. Deleting local meals does not reset service-protection counters or cancel an Apple subscription.
